"Tartuflanghe" is a family business based in Alba, the world capital of the white truffle, specialized in truffle products and Italian gourmet specialties since 1975, offering products to more than 60 different countries worldwide, mainly to independent specialty stores, premium department stores, high-end hotels chains and top Michelin starred restaurants.
The company produces more than 100 different truffle-based recipes, from handcrafted pasta to freeze-dried ingredients, from truffle spread to chocolate pralines.
Over the last years the company has been focusing on innovative products and new techniques for food preserving: beside fresh truffles and the traditional truffle range, there are some unique products, such as seasoning powders or the Perlage range.
The high-end line of Tartuflanghe falls under its premium brand, Tartufi Ponzio: a historical brand of Alba and one of the most authentic truffle boutique, founded in 1947 in the central street of the city by Cavalier Ponzio, serving the most exclusive retailers in the world.
You can start a sumptuous meal by simply placing a tea spoon of truffle Perlage on top of a beef tartare, then slice some fresh truffles on top of a dish of Tajiarin (fresh pasta noodles) or a creamy risotto, to end up with some meat or vegetables seasoned with one of the truffle-based sauces and condiments.
