"Cascina San Cassiano" was born in the heart of the Langhe area, in Alba.
Built as a Benedictine Abbey, it started its activity as an artisan food company in 1990.
Since then, it produces everything in-house (like the Benedictines did in their Abbeys in the past) starting with selected quality raw materials.
The company's core business is the production of sweet and savoury delicatessen in jars.
"Cascina San Cassiano" is also a green company that uses 100% self-produced energy and only recyclable glass packaging.
The products range from fruit in syrup to jams and spreads, from a wide choice of pasta sauces to different vegetables in oil.
The distinctive point of this company is definitely the elegant packaging, with the product always visible in the transparent jar.
Fruit in syrup can be used to enrich ice cream cups, cakes and, in the summer, cocktails.
Sweet creams such as "Moscato d'Asti" is perfect for cakes, cookies or as a filling for chocolates.
Cheese creams are ideal for creamy pasta and risotto recipes or as topping for pizzas and hamburgers.
