Meet the producer

"Barberis Salumi" started in 1920, when founder Ignazio Barberis, grandfather to current owner Franco, began producing sausages and salami in his renowned delicatessen in Villafranca Piemonte on the banks of the Po river.

What has made the "Barberis Salumi" name and company so great in 100 years of activity is its desire to keep true craftsmanship in sausage production alive.

All their products are a must-to-try: fresh, cured, cooked and under-fat cured meats, raw and cooked hams, "paletta", "culatello, speck", "bresaola", "mortadella", "lardo", "pancetta", "coppa", sausages, "cotechino" and "zampone".

Cold cuts are a must during aperitif time with grissini or bread and, of course, with a glass of light red wine or mug of lager.
