Franco and his wife Marzena Iwona represent the third generation of the "Valsania" winery.
A family business of Piedmontese winemakers in Montà, among the Cuneo hills, recognised in the area and outside Italy for the production of DOC and DOCG wines made from indigenous grape varieties.
In this beautiful landscape (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014), the "Barolo" was born, made from pure "Nebbiolo" grapes with a minimum ageing time of 3 years in oak barrels.
"Barbera", "Dolcetto", "Arneis", "Favorita", "Chardonnay" and "Moscato" are the other typical wines of the "Valsania" winery, produced respecting the natural cycle in a winery equipped with modern technologies.
The wines are at their best when paired with great food: a glass of "Arneis" or "Dolcetto" for an aperitif, a glass of "Barbera" with a slice of salami, a full-bodied "Barolo" with meat dishes and a taste of "Moscato" with dessert.
