The "Chiesa Carlo" farm was established in the middle of XVIII century in the Roero hills, in Santo Stefano Roero.
It has been an authentic family business for 5 generations, where the brothers Carlo, Renato, and Giuseppe are now caring for the company with their grandchildren.
Powered by the spirit of sacrifice handed down by their parents, they run "Chiesa Carlo" with passion and dedication.
In their vineyards on the right side of the Tanaro river (opposite of the Langhe area) soils are sandy and slopes are marked.
This winery extends over 9 hectares of vineyards and cultivates only the typical vines of the area to get DOC and DOCG wines that express all the beauty of the territory such as "Arneis", "Barbera" and "Nebbiolo".
Annual production is 35,000 bottles.
The best is to pair the "Chiesa Carlo" wines with very traditional Piedmontese dishes such as the "vitel tonnè" (veal in tuna sauce), the "agnolotti del plin" pasta with roast sauce or the "Nebbiolo" stew... They perfectly match!
