"Nettare della Terra" organic beekeeping farm was started in 2010, following a radical change in the lives of its founders, who preferred to work in the countryside instead of living a hectic city life.
Now, they have the privilege of being immersed in the woods of Casalborgone, at the border with the Alto Monferrato area.
The honey production takes place through the conduction of about 200 nomadic beehives in the Piemonte region and counts on 5-8 tons of honey per year.
The idea behind "Nettare della terra" is never to place more than 24 hives in the same area, avoiding overlapping with colleagues or crowding.
Spring honey (i.e. Cherry, Dandelion and Acacia) is offered, as well as summer mountain honey (i.e. Lime, Chestnut and Rhododendron).
The farm also produces honey candies, a selection of fine jams without preserves and a biologic mead.
"Nettare della Terra" organic honeys can be enjoyed with fresh or blue cheeses or by adding a teaspoon to a cup of hot milk or herbal tea.
Also excellent as a topping for white yoghurt or fresh "ricotta" cheese.
