A family-run winery that has been operating in Tagliolo Monferrato since 1920, founded with respect for nature, technology and territory.
Here, indigenous grapes such as "Albarossa" and "Dolcetto" give life to territorial and fragrant reds, while "Pinot Noir" and "Chardonnay" are vinified according to the principles of the "Metodo Classico".
"Cascina Bretta Rossa" Spumante rests at least 36 months on the lees to develop their excellent flavour and aroma.
Generally speaking, the vinification of red wines is activated exclusively by the yeasts naturally present on the grapes so as to keep the varietal aromas of the original grapes intact.
"Cascina Bretta Rossa" is one of the 14 producers that joined the "Consorzio di Tutela dell'Alta Langa DOCG".
"Alta Langa" sparkling wines are excellent as aperitifs or with fish "hors d'oeuvres" such as crudités and salmon or red prawn tartare.
The red wines, on the other hand, are to be drunk with first courses such as egg pasta or stuffed pasta with sauce or alongside a platter of Piedmontese cheese.
