Meet the producer
"Cascina Fiume" farm is located in Carmagnola.
Since the the beginning of XX century, the Tachis family has dedicated itself to agriculture, thanks to the willingness of the sons to continue the work of their father, Antonio.
The Carmagnola area is well known for cultivating peppers in four different types: "Tumaticot", "Quadrato", "Trottola" and "Corno di Carmagnola" (Slow Food Presidium).
They have have unique organoleptic characteristics in terms of sweetness and the thickness of their flesh.
The farm covers an area of about 20 hectares used for growing vegetables and for the cultivation of fruit and cereals.
The vegetables are processed into preserves, pickled vegetables in oil and vinegar, always without preservatives.

The perfect match
Sweet and sour sliced peppers are perfect as an appetiser or accompaniment to roasted and boiled meat.
The pepper cream is ideal with medium-aged cheese. The same goes for the range of sauces such as red and green "bagnèt", "cognà" and onion cream.
