"Boeri" winery has been producing wine in Bionzo (a hamlet of Costigliole d'Asti) since 1900, when Alfonso Boeri bought the winery and a few hectares of vines.
In 1998, Giorgio and Roberto Boeri took over the company's reins, focusing on quality, selecting the best grapes and enhancing the terroir with labels made from individual vineyards.
The typical grape of the area is undoubtedly "Barbera", which is interpreted in different variants aged in wood or steel, followed by "Moscato d'Asti", "Nebbiolo" and "Chardonnay".
The product line comprises everyday wines, "Metodo Classico" sparkling wines, white and rosé, selections and Riserva.
The "Barbera d'Asti Superiore - Pörlapà" is the first wine produced by the "Boeri" winery.
It is full-bodied and smells of ripe fruit and brushwood, excellent when paired with classic Piedmontese "agnolotti" pasta or with meat dishes such as wine-braised beef.
