"Domori" was founded by Gianluca Franzoni.
After his studies in Economics & Business in 1993, he flew to Venezuela and decided to develop a business model to reposition fine cacao.
He started working on an important project to preserve Venezuela's biodiversity and prevent the extinction of a particularly fine cacao variety: "Criollo".
Since its birth in 1997, "Domori" controls the entire supply chain, starting from the plantations located in Central & South America.
They only use traditional farming methods with delicate cacao plants and they process raw materials with low impact technologies.
"Domori" chocolate contains only two ingredients: cocoa mass and cane sugar.
There is no additional butter than the one naturally contained in the cacao beans, no added vanilla flavouring and no soy lecithin used as an emulsifier.
Chocolate is the perfect cure for every sorrow and should be eaten alone, savoured slowly.
"Domori" also recommends tasting it with dark beers, fortified wines or aged spirits such as whisky, rum and cognac.
