"La Masera" was born from the friendship of Alessandro, Gian Carlo, Davide, Sergio and Marco, who, in 2005, gave life to this winery in Settimo Rottaro.
They wanted to revive the production of "Erbaluce di Caluso Passito", a meditation wine made from the drying of "Erbaluce" grapes.
After 15 years of winemaking, "La Masera" today covers 5 hectares of vineyards and aims at producing quality wine, authentic and fair, combining a mindful approach inherited from grandparents with the improvements made available by technology.
"Erbaluce di Caluso" is "La Masera" leading white wine, and it is produced in many variants: still, sparkling and "Passito".
Red wines such as "Barbera", "Freisa" and "Nebbiolo" complete the range.
"Erbaluce di Caluso Passito" is the classic example of a meditation wine to be served at the end of the meal, pairing it with tasty aged cheese such as Gorgonzola, Montebore or Castelmagno.
