Meet the producer

For over 75 years, "Caseificio Pezzana" has been producing unique specialities that interpret the typical recipes of Piedmontese tradition in a modern take, format and more practical packaging.

It was 1946 when Michele and Lucia set up the dairy as a collection centre for milk from the best stables based in the Pinerolo valleys.

They first produced fresh cheese were "Reginella", "Capriolo" and "Paglierina", then followed by "Tomino da cuocere", which is now the dairy's flagship product.

100% Piedmontese fresh milk arrives at the dairy every morning from the surrounding countryside and is processed and transformed, giving life to 400,000 rounds of "Tomino" per week.

The perfect match

"Tomino" is the ideal cheese for cooking: it can be used for filled sandwiches alongside steak, anchovies or mortadella or for tasty cheeseburgers.

"Mini tomini", on the other hand, can be eaten on their own with a slice of ham rolled around them and cherry tomatoes on top.
