A small family business started by great-grandfather Antonino, now run by his grandson Alessandro.
"Cà di Tulin" winery is located in Cisterna d'Asti in the Roero area, and its 3 hectares of vineyards are situated between the provinces of Asti and Cuneo.
Here, in the enological heart of Piemonte, the grapes cultivated on sandy soils (millions of years ago, the sea reached these lands) are mainly "Barbera", "Nebbiolo" and "Arneis".
In addition, the company has invested in the development of "Croatina" grapes.
They work according to tradition: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, vinification in steel tanks and ageing in a natural embankment, with constant humidity and little light.
"Cisterna d'Asti" is certainly the "Cà di Tulin" top wine, produced from "Croatina" grapes.
It is floral and spicy, excellently matched with a board of mixed cold cuts and medium seasoned cheese or paired with risotto.
