"Marabotto Giacomo e Figli" is a family business that has been active since 1951.
Founded in Cuneo, Northern Italy, it focuses on the artisanal production of traditional Italian flavours.
Initially, "Marabotto Giacomo e Figli" specialised in preserving mushrooms and truffles.
In 1973, the factory expanded, and the range of products was widened by integrating spices and aromatic herbs, paying particular attention to saffron, processed and packaged using artisanal methods.
Today, the company sells a variety of products under the brand name "Sapori Italiani", ranging from coloured artisan pasta in different formats to risottos and polenta, from ready-to-use kitchen sauces such as pesto and ragout, to table sauces and starters.
Mushrooms continue to play a prominent role in "Marabotto Giacomo e Figli" product range with dried and pickled varieties, both whole and cut.
Mushrooms and truffle sauces are gastronomical gems to be tasted as an aperitif or appetizer over a slice of lightly toasted bread with a drizzle of oil and a glass of white wine to match.
