Mario and Egidio Fiandino run their family diary business in 1920, in the Stura Valley with passion and love for nature.
In their pastures surrounding Villafalletto village, the "Fattorie Fiandino" farm chose to use only milk from the surroundings and to breed only "Bruna Italiana" cattle from the outset.
An excellent choice: the milk is certainly of superior quality, thanks to the cows' controlled and certified feeding, even if the quantity produced by each animal is limited.
"Fattorie Fiandino" cheese is recognised above all for the "Kinara Method", i.e. the use of vegetable rennet produced from the wild thistle that grows wild in the mountains.
The cheese made using this innovative method is lactose-free and has unique and original organoleptic characteristics.
Salted butter with sea salt from Trapani (Slow Food Presidium), is excellent for creating tasty canapés at breakfast or aperitif time.
The "Toma Brilla" flavoured with "Barolo" and "Barbaresco" wines calls for a glass of wine, and the "Erbì" with aromatic plants will make you feel as you are totally immersed in a mountain landscape!
