Meet the producer

In the rolling hills of Costigliole d’Asti, lies "Tenuta Ronzano", a family-owned winery with deep roots dating back to 1963 when patriarch Renato, with perseverance and a dream, first cultivated his lands.

Today, Marco and Paola Ronzano, grandkids and third-generation vintners, carry forward that legacy, merging it with the noble vines of Neive.

Across 20 hectares (12 in Asti and 8 in Neive) they produce distinguished DOC and DOCG wines with a commitment to sustainability and traditional methods.

"Tenuta Ronzano" is renowned for its artisanal approach, infusing the rich nuances of the Piedmontese soil into every bottle. Their meticulously crafted Barbera channels the robust flavors of Asti, while the Barbaresco and Nebbiolo from Neive reflect the intricate winemaking heritage of the region.

With environmental respect and a touch of innovation, "Tenuta Ronzano" wines are not just beverages, but representations of a family's devotion to winemaking. Each sip is a fusion of history, passion, and Italian flavors, echoing the triumphs and challenges of a generational journey.

Experience the vibrant legacy of "Tenuta Ronzano", where every glass encapsulates the essence of Piedmont.

The perfect match

Barbera d'Asti DOCG: Barbera d'Asti is known for its lively acidity and cherry notes, with a medium body and a hint of earthiness. The wine's acidity makes it suitable for fatty and umami-rich dishes, providing a palate cleanse with each sip. Try this with a rich and creamy Wild Mushroom Risotto, allowing the earthy flavors to play against the bright acidity of the wine. A Porcini and Truffle Oil Pizza would also be a delectable accompaniment.

"Bricco Neve" Barbaresco DOCG: Barbaresco offers elegance with a balance of tannins, acidity, and notes of red fruits and earth. It’s a robust wine with aging potential. This wine pairs well with rich dishes that smooth out the wine's tannins. Consider a Truffle-infused Filet Mignon or a rich Pappardelle with a Wild Boar Ragu. The savory depth and tender textures of these dishes will harmonize with the structured complexity of Barbaresco.

Alta Langa DOCG Brut: A sparkling wine with crisp acidity, green apple, and citrus notes, often exhibiting a toasty or creamy finish. The effervescence and acidity can cut through rich foods or provide a refreshing contrast to lighter dishes. An elegant pairing might be with Oysters Rockefeller or a classic Coquilles Saint-Jacques. The wine's bubbles and bright palate are ideal for the richness of the seafood and cream.

Piemonte DOC Barbera:  This Barbera is generally lighter with flavors of red fruits, a refreshing acidity, and soft tannins. A versatile wine that complements a variety of dishes, including those with some herbaceousness. Herb-crusted Rack of Lamb or roasted Mediterranean vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini, and eggplant could bring out the best in this wine. The herbal crust or the Mediterranean spices would interact splendidly with the wine's bright fruit profile.

Langhe DOC Nebbiolo: Nebbiolo wines are typically tannic with flavors of cherry, rose, and spice, often with a significant structure that can age well. The strong tannins demand food with fat content and rich flavors to balance the wine's robust profile. A plate of Aged Cheeses with cured meats like prosciutto can be just the right match. Alternately, a Beef Bourguignon with its deep flavors and succulent meat could be an excellent choice to counterbalance the tannic nature of the Nebbiolo.

"Luna Perlata" Brut: A light, bubbly wine that can exhibit fruit and floral notes with a refreshing finish.  It’s ideal for cleansing the palate and can accompany a variety of dishes without overwhelming them. A perfect pairing would be a delicate Seafood Salad or light Poultry Terrine. The crispness of the sparkling wine challenges the subtle flavors without dominating the taste experience.

Piemonte DOC Cortese: Cortese is a light-bodied wine with high acidity, offering aromas of lime and herbaceous hints. The bright acidity pairs well with dishes that mirror this profile or provide a nice contrast with a bit of richness. Try pairing this with a Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken or a Pesto Pasta. The citrus and herb notes in the dishes complement the natural zestiness of the wine.
