Scalone d'onore e Salone d'ingresso

Gli ambienti interni del palazzo non conservano più l’impronta juvarriana così netta ed elegante della facciata e dell’atrio. Gli interventi decorativi eseguiti su committenza dei Della Valle ne hanno condizionato in gran parte la fisionomia, già a partire dal primo grande spazio successivo all’atrio, lo scalone d’onore. 

Salendolo ci si trova di fronte a tutto un altro gusto. La struttura è settecentesca, a pozzo, ma è ricoperta da un apparato pittorico di gusto eclettico. Sono i Della Valle a dare l’impronta stilistica che ancora oggi conservano gli appartamenti. 

Il Lacoonte e l’Autunno sono i due busti in terracotta, risalenti al 1819, che accolgono chi entra nel Salone d’ingresso, illuminato dal grande lampadario di vetro e cristallo. Voltandosi a sinistra, è possibile ammirare la teatralità del cortile d’onore attraverso la porta finestra. 

Da qui si accede al Salone principale, ora denominato Sala Giunta, perché è il luogo in cui si svolgono le riunioni della Giunta della Camera di commercio, ma anche le conferenze stampa organizzate dall’ente.

Staircase of honor and the Entrance room

The internal spaces of the palace no longer retain the clear and elegant Juvarrian imprint of the façade and atrium. Decorative interventions commissioned by the Della Valle family largely influenced its physiognomy, starting from the first large space after the atrium, the staircase of honor. 

Climbing it, one encounters a completely different taste. The structure is from the 18th century, but it is covered with an eclectic pictorial apparatus. The Della Valle family has given the stylistic imprint that the apartments still preserve today. Eclecticism and neorococo style dominate in the decorations of the vaults and fixed furnishings, doors, shutters and fireplaces. 

The "Laocoön" and the "Autumn" are the two terracotta busts dating back to 1819 that welcome those entering the entrance hall, illuminated by the large glass and crystal chandelier. Turning to the left, you can admire the theatricality of the courtyard of honor through the French door. 

From here, one enters the main hall, now called the "Sala Giunta" (Committee Room) because it is where the meetings of the Chamber of Commerce's Executive Board take place, as well as press conferences organized by the institution.
