Meet the producer

High in the peaceful village of Morinesio in the Maira Valley, "Alpes d’Oc" is a family-owned "agriturismo" (bed & breakfast) and distillery that celebrates the traditions of the Alps.

Paolo and Consolata, the owners, set the company in a carefully restored 18th-century stone building, blending natural materials with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Over the day, they serve meals made from homegrown and local ingredients and prepared with care to reflect the region's flavors.

Then, "Alpes d'Oc", produce a high quality "Cassis", starting from blackcurrant berries (ribes nigrum), planted and grown by the family according to specific farming certifications and natural methods, mixed with high mountain water. The result is a very pleasant digestive drink, rich in the beneficial properties of blackcurrant.

The distillery is powered by solar energy and the production waste coming from the manufacturing process is recovered and used as fertilizer, in the framework of a virtuous circular economy and environmental sustainable approach.

The focus on sustainability and respect for alpine culture makes "Alpes d’Oc" a special place for foodies and visitors looking for an authentic experience.
